Stoya is the stage name of Jessica Stoyadinovich, an American actress born to Serbian and Scottish parents in Wilmington, North Carolina. Outside of her acting she also writes, both for her blog Hello Stoya and for publications including The New York Times, Playboy, Nylon, and The Guardian. She is an alt-performer who has appeared in productions for Razordolls, Vivid Alt, and Digital Playground's more unusual offerings. She appeared in a number of productions before 2013, but since then has focused primarily on her directing outside of a few specific exceptions like 2016s Dagger Kiss.
